Welcome to our apartment on the island of Culebra! Home of one of the most beautiful beaches IN THE WORLD, Playa Flamenco. We offer you a clean and comfortable space to unwind after a day under the sun and the amenities you need for a memorable stay. To ensure your comfort year-round, the apartment is equipped with ductless air conditioning mini-split units. You can adjust the temperature to your liking, providing a cool respite in this Caribbean weather. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood just 7 minutes' walk from the Culebra airport and 15 minutes' walk from the ferry. 4-minute walk to the two main jeep and golf cart rental points and less than 3 minutes' drive away from local dining restaurants and coffee shops. We are ~6 minutes' drive from world-famous Flamenco Beach and Tamarindo Beach, where you can swim with turtles and enjoy our world-class pristine beaches. The space features an open space with a dining area, family/TV area, kitchenette, one bedroom, and one bathroom. Both main areas feature mini-split A/C units and windows in all areas for natural light and breeze. The bedroom comes with a comfortable queen-sized bed. There's a small balcony with an Ensenada Honda Bay view in the distance, a perfect spot to check the weather and plan your day. The full bathroom has a well-appointed shower, water heater, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the essentials you'll need during your stay. Our compact and functional kitchen comes with the basics for you to prepare quick meals: 2-burner stovetop, microwave, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, spices, oil spray, and the kitchen essentials, including pots, pans, cutlery, and more. A full-size refrigerator to keep your food and drinks. The living/dining area features a high-end sleeping futon (very comfortable) with a full-size mattress, perfect for additional guests or for lounging in front of the Smart TV. You can catch up on your favorite shows or stream content with ease. A dining table for 3 and sea decor make this a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. You are here to enjoy the beach! We have additional items to make your beach time more comfortable - beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, and more. For after the beach, there is an outdoor shower (not enclosed) for you to rinse off the sand. We want this apartment to be your place to rest and unwind after experiencing Culebra. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple on a romantic getaway, or a small family looking for a home away from home, this apartment offers the perfect blend of island vibe and central location.

* As a Caribbean island, roosters, cats, dogs, hens, and chickens roam freely around the area. You'll be by a local's neighborhood. Culebra's only school is around the block. * Insect repellent is highly recommended. As in any beach location, there is a possibility of being bitten by insects while enjoying the sand and water. Commonly known as gnats, sand fleas, no-see-ums or biting midges, these tiny biting insects are barely visible to the naked eye, but their bites can be irritating and their effects can be felt several hours after being bitten. A small reddish or whitish welt about the size of a freckle is a sure sign that you’ve been bitten. Thankfully, these bites are not harmful to human health, but sure are annoying! Protect yourself and your family by applying insect repellent when you are outside. For your convenience, we offer complimentary insect repellent which you’ll find in our property. *Please note that the beach gear we provide is beach chairs, towels, a small cooler, and an umbrella. No snorkeling or beach pad. Keep in mind that inventories in Culebra are limited. If any of this beach gear is not present, it means the replacement is not available on the island. No compensation will be granted for the lack of any of this beach gear. *Bring your medications with you. *Buy your ferry or plane tickets in advance. *Book your rental car in advance. A golf cart will work if you plan to stay in town and Flamenco. To access other beaches, a Jeep or similar are recommended. *We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To protect your trip and avoid losing your payment in the event of cancellation outside the free cancellation period, we recommend purchasing travel insurance, which usually costs a fraction of the cost of your booking. If necessary, we will assist you with the documentation on our end. Utility Service Disclaimer Please note that if there is an interruption in water or electricity service due to reasons beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible. We do not manage or have any control over the local water or power companies. We guarantee that all utilities are up-to-date prior to each guest’s arrival, and proof of this can be provided if necessary. By booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts that the property does not include a power generator or water cistern and that the host will not be responsible for any service interruptions caused by external factors. No compensation will be provided for outages or service loss beyond our control.
